Purveyor of silky and sultry productions, Hayden James is no stranger to late-night escapades. With tracks like “Just Friends” and “Better Together,” his music has been the soundtrack to dancefloors all over the world, and he kept listeners dancing with his debut album Between Us. After one-off single releases, the Australian producer returns with the announcement of his second full-length album LIFTED, due out April 8 on Future Classic.
Ahead of the album comes his next single “Hold Tight” that’s due out Friday, January 28. Piano chords, washed-out vocals, and a classic house beat that’s optimistic will have you ready for the full return of events. “Hold Tight” is danceable and fun – the perfect teaser for LIFTED. Crafted in the confines of quarantine, this album aims at emboldening the camaraderie of the rave and being united on the dancefloor. Hayden James’ goal to create something that translates euphorically on stage and into a crowd as lockdowns started lifting is heard in “Hold Tight.”
Along with the album, Hayden James also announced an accompanying North American tour starting off with performances during both weekends of Coachella. The LIFTED tour will make stops in 20 additional cities including Brooklyn, Detroit, Chicago, and Los Angeles before wrapping up on June 11 in Vancouver.
