Want to celebrate the end of the year with David Guetta? Tune in to his New Year’s Eve livestream and catch his set from Louvre Abu Dhabi!
When the pandemic forced everyone to stay at home last year, many DJs began live streaming performances to keep their fans dancing to the beat. One of those artists was David Guetta, who brought his United At Home series to life and touched down in Miami, Paris, New York City, and Dubai. Now, to help his global fanbase celebrate the end of 2021 in style, he’s broadcasting a set from the Louvre Abu Dhabi on New Year’s Eve.
This performance from David Guetta will be nothing but spectacular as he graces a floating stage that was constructed in the waters surrounding the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Fans will see him play in front of the museum’s iconic architecture and be treated to a world-class light show featuring 500 light fixtures, pyrotechnics, and projection mapping that celebrates its vision of art and culture, as well as pushing a global message of joy, hope, and optimism.
A handful of the masterpieces from Louvre Abu Dhabi that will be featured include Georges de la Tour’s Girl Blowing on a Brazier, Piet Mondrian’s Composition with Blue, Red, Yellow and Black, August Rodin’s The Walking Man, On a Column, and Statue of a Winged Dragon from Northern China – all of which date back at least a century, if not more than a millennia.
The broadcast kicks off on January 1, 2022 at 12am (Gulf Standard Time). David Guetta’s fans in Europe will want to tune in at 9pm CEST, while those in North America should tune in at 3pm EST (12pm PST).
