Couldn’t get enough of Zeds Dead and MKLA’s “Alive”? They just dropped a second remix package featuring some major talent.

This has been a major year for Zeds Dead with the renowned duo making bigger moves than ever. From the return of Deadrocks and the Deadbeats: The Revival Tour to a variety of mixes and new releases that showcase its new style, they’ve only further solidified their place at the top. Earlier this year, they released their single “Alive” with MKLA, which became a summer anthem for Deadbeats fans and newcomers to the scene alike, and then delivered a dose of remixes back in October for the track as well.

Now, before the end of the year, the duo has dropped the second wave of remixes that feature a whole new roster of diverse talent from all parts of the electronic scene. Just like the first collection, this round showcases a range of genres from dubstep to downtempo with Kumarion, HEYZ, X&G, Plumpy, ethanplus, Heimanu, and Rohaan joining in on the fun.

Starting off strong, Kumarion brings a smooth, liquidy drum and bass vibe to the track for his cut, while HEYZ brings the future bass waves front and center. X&G delivers a heavy-hitting array of jump-up drum and bass and rhythmic breaks that bring a whole new essence to the original sound, becoming one of the standout tracks of the list. Then, Rohaan keeps the groove with a flip of the vocal and samples in a classic, smooth drum and bass style.

Midway through the collection sees the arrival of ethanplus, who keeps the uplifted taste the original track has with creative samples and trap-style beats infused to create a whole new track out of the original. Soon after, Heimanu brings a mellow, ethereal sounding house style before plumpy brings forth the hot finale of the compilation, meshing different styles of experimental-style bass, trap, and drum and bass.
