Revenge is yet another reminder of the unique soundscapes and vibrations that Bleep Bloop continues to cook up in the studio.

Bleep Bloop is a staple of the Bay Area bass scene who has graced listeners with his sounds for well over a decade. Releases like Mind, “K-9 Unit,” “Hoodlum 500,” and “Roll My Blunts” are just a small handful of projects that truly showcase the sounds he’s pioneered. Time and time again he reminds listeners of his ability to create sounds that may not fit in one genre box, but still evoke powerful emotions that forever leave you in awe. And that’s exactly what he’s done with his latest release on DOMEOFDOOM, Revenge.

Revenge is the first release from Bleep Bloop in a year, and it was certainly worth the wait. Recently, he teased fans with “Wrapped In Flame” to give them just a small taste of what was to come with the rest of his latest project. Now, the collection of seven tracks is available in full and shows Bleep Bloop at his best. Not only does he stick true to his sound, but he also weaves in some of the newer frequencies that he’s been experimenting with. This creation is dark, perilous, and will leave listeners craving more once it comes to an end.

Kick-off your weekend proper, and let Revenge be the soundtrack to your spooky season, you can stream it now on your preferred music platform. Let us know which track was your favorite in the comments and read on for a more in-depth dive on the release.

Listeners should prepare to be taken on a dark and perilous journey of tasteful, distorted sounds when immersing themselves in Revenge.

Releasing this during spooky season was the perfect move, and truly fits Bleep Bloop’s aesthetic. He’ll have you exploring places “Deep In The Dark,” and you might even find yourself “Wrapped In Flame,” while surrounded by otherworldly sounds. “Gravity Fed Pupae Fire Extinguisher” blends those signature Bleep Bloop static distortions with fresh production sounds and “Do It On The Dancefloor” with lyricist Tennis Rodman proves how seamlessly Bleep Bloop weaves hard-hitting rap lyrics into his music.

The mood switches up slightly on “Drowning In Spirits,” with Shrimpnose, as listeners are dragged down into the depths of hell, falling slowly as each element of the track surrounds them. You can immediately imagine everything being dark, with little ashes trickling down as you try to reach up and grab onto something that isn’t there. “Cross Hands” is up next, and in signatory Bleep Bloop fashion, he puts on display exactly what he does best. Adding those crunchy, warped noises that instantly make every hair on your body stand up as you get lost in his soundscapes.

Bleep Bloop wraps up Revenge with “Stupid Fucking Idyllic Little Tire Swing,” bringing this satisfying album to a close. It’s the shortest track on this project but it’s not short of mind-blowing frequencies and energy. Much like the rest of the release, you can feel the emotions that Bleep Bloop poured into this track as he lets the world know he’s not stopping anytime soon. He’s one of the most influential artists in this corner of electronic music, and with every release, we’re reminded what a genius he is.
