camoufly graces hearts with an immaculate collection of tunes that will take you on a journey you won’t soon forget on The Giant.

The mysterious camoufly is an exceptional artist with a unique and beautiful sense of sound. In fact, the moment his music enters your ears you’re taken on a journey through colorful melodies and an array of emotions. Coupled with his innate ability to paint vivid pictures in listeners’ minds with his unique production style, camoufly has quickly become a beloved artist. Giving his genre the name kawaii bounce couldn’t be more perfect as a very sweet and wonderful feeling comes from his music – which rings clear in his latest EP, The Giant.

Following up his Apotheosis release from earlier this year, camoufly once again takes his fans on an emotional journey. In the hopes of letting listeners know they aren’t alone, The Giant is a story of the struggles and triumphs many of us face each and every day. From the bells to the drums, and every other sound in between, camoufly gives listeners a powerful, beautiful message that even when it may feel like it, we’re never alone in our feelings, and we can climb any mountain that comes our way.

This EP is a result of me growing up, artistically and personally, realizing all these things, bringing back all the emotions that I could into songs. While ‘Apotheosis’ felt like a big energy rush, ‘The Giant’ sounds to me more like a little big adventure all condensed in five tracks, filled with happiness, sorrow, and hope.

The Giant is a beautiful reminder that even when it doesn’t seem like it, we can perservere through anything. Especially with music to guide us along our journey.

“rituals” kicks things off, transporting listeners high above pink and orange clouds, whilst the sun beams down upon your body. Filling you with a sense of warmth and calmness that sets the tone for what’s to come. Next up on The Giant is “million years,” which became my favorite track off the entire EP. Immediately you’ll feel lighter as if letting go of something you’d been tightly grasping for too long and the vocals met with the wholesome melodies make this track truly stand out.

To me, “The Giant” is something that we have to fight towards every day. It’s like when you think you got over something, you think you did something good and you can rest, but suddenly you’ve got to deal with something else. “The Giant” is our life’s pains and difficulties.

Sooner or later, we all have to climb massive “pyramids,” but the view from the top can truly be worth it. Visualize yourself looking over an epic view, with the sun beginning to set, while this track plays in the background. A “sakura” is a flowering cherry tree, and this perfectly fits that track’s mood. It feels like pink colors and flower petals whirling around and slowly floating to lush green grass below.

Last but not least, camoufly wraps things up with “possibilities.” This was the most quintessential track to end the EP with, from the birds chirping to the other elegant sounds. It felt like sitting on a hill, watching an orange and pink sunset, knowing that endless possibilities await. Sometimes in life, we may face giant struggles, but if we can collectively come together and support one another, we can triumph over anything that comes our way. camoufly and this EP are everything that the world needs right now.
