Drew Dapps Delivers a Fresh Two-Track EP

Grant Gilmore by Grant Gilmore
July 4, 2021
in New Releases

How Many Times is the latest release from Drew Dapps as he brings two new house heaters to help you groove your worries away.

Few genres fit the summertime vibe quite like house music does. There’s just something special about hearing those infectious grooves during the warmest months of the year as you sweat under the sun while shuffling away or vibe out at night with some friends under a disco ball. Now, Drew Dapps has joined in on the fun with two fresh tracks found within his How Many Times EP to help solidify his place as an artist who you simply need to catch this season.

The latest EP from Drew Dapps arrives on the heels of a flurry of releases in 2021 that include What’s Possible, along with “The Source” and “Down For Whatever” with Kenny Oliver that ignited a fire in the hearts of his growing fanbase. On How Many Times, which is out now on Argentinian imprint Indeep, he continues his exploration of minimal, deep tech that sets a proper vibe perfect for those late-night lounges or days spent by the pool.

“Feels Good” leads the two-track release with its chilled-out soundscape and sultry vocal that acts as a perfect accent. It has just enough energy to let your body sway to its beat but remains calm, cool, and collected throughout its runtime. You’ll feel that cold drink in your hand when listening to this one. Then, Drew Dapps switches gears ever so slightly as he picks up the pace for the EP’s title track. “How Many Times” offers up similar tones with a hypnotic bassline and vocal that will immediately put anyone who hears it blasting through their speakers in a good mood. Play this one when you’re turning down after a long night out to keep the party vibing until the sunrise.

Grant Gilmore

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment. Whether he’s covering it or not, you can expect to find Grant Gilmore attending the next big electronic music event. To find out what’s next on his itinerary, follow him via the social links below.
