The bassPOD lineup for EDCLV 2021 is getting us hyped, so we curated a playlist to get you ready to find the nearest rail and headbang!
Welcome back to our special playlist series where we’ll be delivering you curated beats from each major stage at EDC Las Vegas 2021. So far, we have dived deep into the trance sounds of quantumVALLEY and the dark techno and house grooves of neonGARDEN. Now, we’re pivoting to the heavy, aggressive sounds of bassPOD. Hosted by Bassrush, this stage specializes in the sounds of dubstep, trap, drum & bass, and other wonky styles. They always bring a massive lineup and this year is no different!
Those who make their way to the stage will be entranced by SVDDEN DEATH‘s VOYD set, which combines disgustingly heavy bass with otherworldly undertones. Legendary artist PENDULUM is bringing their highly anticipated Trinity set, which will be packed with all-new songs and production elements. Changing it up a little will be Ganja White Night and Liquid Stranger, who will surely bring freeform bass elements to this stage. And MARAUDA, Subtronics, and Zomboy are sure to leave bass lovers with an incredibly sore neck after checking out their thrilling sets. Additionally, artists such as Fallen, Maduk, and Mob Tactics will switch up the vibe entirely with the fast-paced breakbeats of drum & bass!
It would not be a bassPOD lineup with some surprises though. There’s a whole slew of unique back-to-back performances that you won’t want to miss including Kayzo b2b Knife Party, Herobust b2b Spag Heddy, and Jauz b2b Peekaboo. If this was not enough, DJs are bringing their unique sets along with them as well such as Excision with his renowned Detox set, JOYRYDE with a drum and bass set, and 12th Planet with a throwback set to turn back the clock.
Get lost in the sounds of the bassPOD, prepare that neck for October, and check back in with us tomorrow for the next playlist which will be the bumping sounds of the cosmicMEADOW.
