Bangkok-based bass music artist KartyPartyy showcases his heavy-hitting productions with an energetic mix for This is Home!
They say when you lean into your passion good things follow. Well, with his whole heart paired with steadfast determination KartyPartyy has grown to become one of Thailand’s premier producers and DJs. Fully diving into production in 2016, he began playing events and clubs across the country pouring energy into every gig to build the foundation for bass music in the local scene. Since then, he has gone on to open for world-renowned artists like Skrillex and Yellow Claw as well as taken the stage at some of the country’s largest music festivals including Wipeout Festival, Waterzonic Festival, Together Festival, and more!
To further solidify his role as a pioneer in Thailand’s bass scene, KartyPartyy started the Bass Head Temple. This organization provides a platform for bass enthusiasts to share excitement for the genre through live events, podcasts, new releases, and live streams. Being so passionate and tapped into the scene, we are very excited to have had KartyPartyy put together an exclusive mix for our This Is Home series.
In this 30-minute mix, KartyPartyy weaves together a relentless collection of heavy-hitting bass tunes that will have you headbanging as if you’re on the rail at a festival. Wasting no time getting the energy levels up, he showcases his abilities as a tastemaker and DJ by expertly mixing tunes that immediately pique your interest. If you want to start your week with an injection of intensity look no further than this epic experience.
The EDM scene has been growing in Thailand. Just 5 years ago we went from barely having 2 festivals a year, with around 10,000 ravers, to having one just about every month now! the biggest pulling in 20,000 party animals!
Witnessing this growth first hand and being a part of it has been an unreal experience. Seeing the appreciation for Bass Music, Dubstep, and Hardstyle just takes it to another level for me.
For those of you wondering, festival-goers in Thailand are very well educated and up to date with all the latest EDM sounds and trends. They know their stuff, and the energy is electric!
Before the 3rd wave hit, we had 808 Music Festival (December 2020) where Kayzo was one of the headliners. I had the privilege of being on stage with him when he played one of my edits, and to see how lit the crowd got gave me goosebumps.
