Brooklyn Warehouse Series Takes Teksupport BACK to Its Roots

Teksupport announces its BACK to warehouse parties in Brooklyn with headliners including Bedouin and Guy Gerber this July.

When the month of May began, pandemic-weary New Yorkers were finding their way back to some semblance of normal life. But a patchwork of ever-changing Covid regulations capped with cold and wet weather kept the enthusiasm at bay. Then as the month drew to a close, it quickly became obvious that vaccinated New Yorkers would be able to get back to most activities very soon. This left performers, promoters, and venues suddenly looking to book events for June and July, months they had previously written off.

Local legend Teksupport stepped up and swung for the bleachers, announcing BACK – a Brooklyn Warehouse Summer Series featuring the aforementioned Bedouin and Guy Gerber, as well as Seth Troxler, Bronx favorites The Martinez Brothers, and many more. What’s more, is that Teksupport is keeping the actual Brooklyn warehouse location a secret in the spirit of old school underground house and techno parties. Given their history of unique venues and immersive productions, there’s no doubt the surprise will be worth the wait.

Before announcing BACK, Teksupport was already getting back into stride with the announcement of a four-show series featuring Eric Prydz. It’s also nice to see Teksupport focusing on its legacy in the underground scene after previous events like Gather Outdoors in the Catskills (which seems like such a prescient name nowadays). New Yorkers longing for classic international names from the house and techno scene will be happy to know that Teksupport has survived Covid, and they aren’t wasting any time getting back on our calendars!
