M3F announces its return to Phoenix’s Margaret T. Hance Park in March for an incredible weekend full of music, art, and delicious food!
As the world welcomes back live music one festival continues to peak our excitement. McDowell Mountain Music Festival, popularly known as M3F, marks its return for 2022! The multi-genre event will be held the weekend of March 4–5 at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix, Arizona, and will showcase a variety of music, art, vendors, and local flare. Although the lineup has not been released, attendees can be assured it will be stacked with incredible talent from top to bottom.
After a year off, many in the scene are ready to go back to doing what they love and the same goes for festival manager Heather Rogers. In regards to the return of M3F, she said, “We’re ready to get back to it. Not only selfishly, to hear some music and be outside and all that, but just to do what we do with M3F, to get the message going again. Especially now. It’s been a crazy two years. People are wanting to hear good stuff and be part of good stuff. So it’s time.”

Differently than previous years, the 2022 edition will be scaled back from three days to two so the festival can iron out all the kinks presented by the challenges of the last year. Past editions of the event have hosted some of the electronic music scene’s most beloved musical acts including Odesza, Rüfüs Du Sol, GRiZ, Big Gigantic, Crooked Colours, and San Holo. Not only does the festival have its finger on the pulse of the electronic music scene, M3F notoriously books a heavy amount of jam bands and other genres including Umphrey’s McGee, SunSquabi, The Motet, Moe., and Greensky Bluegrass.
As more information becomes available, we will be sure to keep you updated, but until then follow M3F on socials to stay up to date with everything event-related!
