Summertime Chi is officially back in action with the return of Lollapalooza featuring artists like Foo Fighters, Megan Thee Stallion, ILLENIUM, and more!

Since its inception in the early ’90s, Lollapalooza has been a huge part of the summertime in Chicago. Drawing one of the largest crowds held in the US annually, this massive festival is set to make its return after being postponed in 2020 on July 29 – August 1. So get ready to spend four days full of nothing but great music, an eclectic crowd, and jaw-dropping production.

Historically, Lollapalooza has blessed the Windy City with a generously diverse lineup and this year is no different. Headliners include the Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, and Tyler, The Creator are sure to rock the city to its core. And performances from the likes of Journey, DaBaby, ILLENIUM, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, and Marshmello add even more diversity to the mix.

Once you dive deeper there are loads of artists that will surely be throwing down some seriously amazing performances on stage. Immediate standouts in the realm of house music include everyone from Tchami and Vintage Culture to Dombresky and Dr. Fresch, while the sets from VNSSA, Blossom, LP Giobbi, and Justin Jay are ones not to miss. Bass music is well represented as well with the likes of Wooli, Slander, Alison Wonderland, JAUZ, Subtronics, Sullivan King, and Subtronics standing out on the list. And after leaving everyone impressed with his recent releases over the past few years, Kaytranada will be a can’t-miss experience at Lollapalooza as well.

Looking beyond the electronic music – Hip-hop artists ranging from Brockhampton and Young Thug to Playboi Carti and Trippie Red will be keeping crowds hyped. And rock sees plenty of representation as well with Modest Mouse, Limp Bizkit, Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, and Angels & Airwaves set to take the stage. But that’s just a taste of this lengthy lineup, so check out the full list below.

Tickets for Lollapalooza officially go on sale Wednesday, May 19 at 12pm CST via their website with 4-Day GA, GA+, VIP, and Platinum options available. VIP perks include elevated viewing platforms, golf cart shuttle transportation, preferred pricing for locker rentals, and more. Let us know if you plan to attend this year’s edition in the comments!
