Groovy Bone Records has unveiled the latest edition of Bones To Pick with tracks from Willy B., 35mm, Kevin Kaldas, and more.

If there’s one genre that has truly stood the test of time and continued to thrive in the face of adversity, it’s house music. Over the years artists and labels, both big and small, have churned out tunes to light up dancefloors – and Charlotte-based imprint Groovy Bone is looking to expand their claim. Founded by Diskull, this label has delivered sensational beats from familiar faces and fresh producers alike, and now they’ve released the latest volume of their Bones To Pick compilation series to set the mood for 2021.

The previous editions of the Bones To Pick compilation have featured a number of highly curated floor-fillers, and the fifth volume in the series is no different. Out now across all platforms, it brings six tracks that span a range of styles within the house realm from Willy B., 35mm, WOAHH!, Mr. Alexander, Kevin Kaldas, and Oxigenate, all of which were curated to perfection.

While each of the tracks featured on Bones To Pick Vol. 5 bring basslines that will make your booty shake, there were a few standouts that simply shouldn’t be ignored.

The lead track, “How It Feels,” by Willy B. is a solid tech house banger that features a vocal that will run through your mind in harmony with its booming bassline, hi-hats, and synths that will induce a shuffle frenzy. 35mm also stands tall on this release with “BANG,” a track that brings thumping bass that captivates the senses as it booms through speakers and is highlighted by freakish blips. And “Days and Nights” from Mr. Alexander offers up a deeper vibe that’s perfect for those days spent dancing at the beach, well, all day and night. When you’re listening to this one you can practically imagine the sand in your toes and the sun beating down on your skin.
