Groove Out to the House Stylings of Diskull with This Mix

Diskull has already begun to leave a lasting impression in the house scene and now he’s put his groove-laden style on full display!

There’s no doubt that house and techno were reigning supreme before the quarantine, but now with social distancing measures in place, those underground styles of dance music have become more prominent than ever before. This year, one of the rising artists who has stood tall among the rest has been Diskull and he’s been keeping us moving his own beats and streams.

Dotting the virtual lineups of virtual festivals near and far, including our very own Pure Pandamonium that happened at the end of March, Diskull has been making the most of his time while social distancing. In addition to his own releases and livestreamed sets, he carries the torch for his imprint Groovy Bone that unleashed a massive compilation dubbed Bones To Pick that quickly ascended to the top of the Beatport charts.

Now, he’s delivered a mix that’s brimming with tasty beats to sink your teeth into. So smash that play button on SoundCloud, read the message from Diskull below, and get to grooving!

“Hey guys, Diskull here. I have been going crazy not being able to hit any clubs! During my time in quarantine I’ve done a lot of work with my label, which recently hit #1 in tech house releases as well as a very exhausting move of apartments (which I think will really give me a jolt of energy and inspiration on the production side of things as well). I am missing all of my friends a ton but have faith things will soon get back to normal. I’m choosing to have hope!

I don’t normally release mixes, but I have put together this one for my good peoples at EDM Identity featuring a ton of Groovy Bone tunes and other artists that I’m really digging at the moment. If you listen close you might even hear and ID from myself too! Hope you guys are into it and hope to see you on the dance floor soon!”

Much love,

As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment.
