Same Same But Different Returns with Stacked Initial Lineup for 2021

Same Same But Different helps usher in the return of live music by announcing their initial lineup for 2021 with Big Gigantic, STS9, CloZee, and more!

After a grueling year of festival postponements and cancellations Same Same But Different leads the return of live music in California with the announcement of their 2021 lineup. The four-stage multi-genre camping festival will return to Lake Perris the weekend of September 9-12 for some fun in the sun with fellow music lovers at the expansive venue.

True to their vision, Same Same But Different has booked a diverse lineup to encourage attendees to venture into and listen to other genres. Headliners Big Gigantic and STS9 have been announced on the first phase of the lineup, as well as a variety of supporting artists such as CloZee, The Polish Ambassador, LSDream, and J. Worra. Also on the lineup are a variety of incredible musicians and bands from San Diego including Red Giant Project, Kaipora, MDRN HSTRY, Aviator Stash, Boostive, Mitchum Yacoub, and OFIER.

Of course, safety is paramount as we continue to navigate the tail end of the pandemic. SSBD has kept this in mind by limiting the capacity of the event to 2,500 attendees and require proof of vaccination or a negative test (taken within the last seven days) upon arrival and entering the festival. The festival will also have rapid tests available for purchase at the gate and tickets are refundable for those who are sick or may have been exposed to COVID-19.

It’s been a long time coming, but we’re so excited to finally offer our attendees the best Same Same But Different experience yet. We have an amazing lineup this year! We’re excited we can host talent like Big Gigantic in Southern California after they had to postpone their Los Angeles show in 2020 due to the pandemic.
This year’s Same Same But Different will be an amazing opportunity for festival-goers to enjoy the outdoors, listen to talented musicians perform live, and spend time with friends – all things that have been missing for over a year now.

Tickets for Same Same But Different 2021 go on sale Friday, April 9 at 1pm PT via their website. Each pass allows one attendee to the four-day festival and includes camping amenities. This year, SSBD will also be accepting cryptocurrency as payment for tickets as well as all other forms of payment.
