After making his debut on Anjunabeats last year, Tomas Heredia has returned with a fresh offering of tunes on the Before The Ashes EP.
The electronic music scene in South America is brimming with talented artists in the realm of house, techno, and trance. Argentina has become a beloved home for the trance and progressive scene especially, and over the past decade Tomas Heredia has carved out his place among the greats. During this time he’s delivered a plethora of releases on labels including Armind, A State Of Trance, and Coldharbour, but more recently he’s set his sights on joining the ranks of the Anjunafamily.
Last year, Tomas Heredia made his debut on Anjunabeats with the release of “Gave U My Love.” This stunning tune won over the hearts of many, and now he’s returned to the label with the latest offering of beats for listeners to immerse themselves in with the Before The Ashes EP. Featuring two new tunes and a remix of the aforementioned single from Mike Saint-Jules, it’s a fantastic collection of soundscapes to trumpet in Heredia’s official arrival.
Kicking off with the title track “Before The Ashes,” Heredia immediately induces listeners with a driving progressive house beat that is perfect for those late nights spent driving around town or times when you’ve lost yourself on the dancefloor. “Attraction” arrives next and much as its name implies it’s a tune that will draw anyone in like a bug fixated on a glowing light with its serene soundscape and tasty progressive build. If you close your eyes and listen to this tune it will immediately transport you to a festival stage with fireworks tracing the sky – a welcome sight to see, even if its just a fever dream from being stuck in lockdown
To close out the EP, Tomas Heredia looks to another fantastic artist in the trance and progressive scene, Mike Saint-Jules. He’s consistently delivered some sensational releases over the years, and when he put his chilled-out progressive touch on “Gave U My Love,” it took the track to the next level.
