Insomniac has unveiled Lost In Dreams the latest brand to fall under their growing umbrella of festivals and record labels.
If you’re someone who loves the sound of future bass, melodic dubstep, and pop/electronic stylings then the latest announcement to arrive from Insomniac is one that will definitely perk your ears up. Today, they’ve unveiled Lost In Dreams, the latest brand in the growing family that will dual as both a new festival experience and record label with a focus on fantastic soundscapes that evoke dreamworld-like imagery.
While the sound of future bass and melodic dubstep stretch back a decade, they’ve become increasingly more popular with each passing year as artists flock to the styles driven by emotion and sweet sounds. Artists like Illenium, Flume, Zhu, Seven Lions, and more have helped pioneer this style that has since infiltrated playlists, dominated festival stages, and boomed through speakers around the world.
While limited details about Lost In Dreams have surfaced in regards to the event side of the brand, based on the initial teaser it can only be imagined that the look and feel of this brand will be otherworldly and filled with vibrant colors. Insomniac has unveiled that more information will be arriving on that front in the future, but we expect there to be stage takeovers and a standalone event to bring their dream world to life.
In the meantime, they have dropped some news about the record label side of the brand, announcing the first release will come from Kaivon and Nevve with their track “Whole Life.” Officially due out on Friday, February 26, this tune will help set the tone for what’s to come on the label in the future as well, so stay tuned.
