After celebrating the 1000th episode and unveiling plans for two nights in Utrecht, ASOT sets its sights on Moscow and Krakow.
It may be difficult to imagine the world returning to some sense of normalcy after the crazy year of 2020 and the global pandemic, but the venerable trance juggernaut that is A State of Trance (ASOT) is doing its hardest work to remind us all shall return. After announcing the now sold-out two-day festival in The Netherlands celebrating Armin’s long campaign for trance music a few weeks ago, fans waited anxiously on what was next. Was the Dutch celebration the only milestone Armada would hold?
Fear not, trance family – Armada was still to announce celebrations for the milestone. In true fashion, during Episode 1004, Armin announced two more dates for the “global tour.” Sure, it may look a little different from the glory tours of A State of Trance 500 through 700 – which were whirlwind rides with fans around the world – but as the saying goes, the show must go on.

Armin van Buuren and Ruben De Ronde teamed up and provided the following information during the show. Armin dropped the details that on October 8, A State of Trance returns to Russia with a show in Moscow at the Music Media Dome. Ruben followed up with a 1-2 combination of his own: on the next day, October 9, A State of Trance invades the Tauron Arena in Krakow, Poland.
Clearly, these dates still have gates to get through – COVID-19 remains a worldwide plague on the event industry. Yet, there is light at the end of this tunnel, and dancefloors around the world will open again in time. Armin even expressed his remorse for the inability to travel the world to celebrate his momentous broadcasting achievement.
