ixto Kicks Off the Winter Waveforms Mix Series in Style

Say goodbye to autumn and welcome in the winter season with this fantastic mix from ixto that will take your breath away!

This year has proven to be one of the most difficult in recent memory, especially for the music and live event industries. But something that has kept dance music lovers moving to the beat throughout the pandemic has been the livestreams on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. While major names have been playing their hearts out it also gave way to a number of artists rising through the ranks who deserve just as much love, and we couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the Winter Waveforms mix series this year than by shining a light on ixto.

First coming into our lives through the chat on Gabriel & Dresden‘s Club Quarantine, he quickly began to win over the hearts of many with his own livestream sets that have taken place throughout the past nine months. Whether taking the stage during the ongoing Quarantrain that ran for weeks on end or providing a serene mix for the #AnjunaUnlocked series, he’s continued to impress his growing fanbase with high-quality track selection and plenty of memorable moments on his own channel as well.

We’ve been thankful for the beats that ixto has spun to help keep us steady all year long and can’t wait to see him continue his growth as an artist in the future. But now, to help usher in the winter months, he reflected on his experience in 2020 and prepared a mix that will help carry anyone who listens through the rest of the holiday season and well into 2021.

The result of 2020 is a year no one asked for, but also a symbol of growth. It is unfortunate to see the music industry see a hit during this pandemic. But also, the music, more than ever has been a resource and an outlet for people to connect with and reflect on. Alongside, a lot of artists continue their growth, and the discovery of smaller artists continue to make an impact on sets. In this mini-mix I reflect on a few artists I see growing furthermore into the next year, alongside, a few of my favorites.

Get cozy and listen to this mix from ixto to immerse yourself in the sounds of the winter season and follow him on socials to know the next time he goes live on Twitch, you wont regret catching him!

Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment.
