Floret Loret Releases ‘Prosper’ EP on Bassrush Records

Florida’s own Floret Loret has unveiled his latest EP, Prosper, on Bassrush Records, and it’s filled with four stunning tunes!

If there’s one thing that Fernando Loret de Mola, aka Floret Loret, has become known for during his rise through the ranks of the bass music scene, it’s his consistent efforts to push the boundaries of his own sound. Each release that comes from his brilliant mind further proves he’s been one to watch and with leaders in the bass music realm like Deadbeats backing him, it’s clear that the future is bright for this rising star.

While this year has been rocky, to say the least, Floret Loret has remained grounded with a number of releases for his growing fanbase to devour. Tracks like “Quintessence” and “Pact” left a lasting impression while he also teamed up with Zeds Dead for “Reason” which was also fantastic. Now, he’s landed the four-track Prosper EP on Insomniac’s Bassrush Records to help finish the year strongly.

This set of songs are a step toward a new direction for my sound. Continuing to grow from the previous EPs, ‘Secluded Garden’ and ‘Tangled Roots’, I wanted to push these next tunes further and experiment more with my tools. This EP will take you on a bitcrush-y, melodic, low-end bass-engulfing. Journey.

The EP begins with “Nu Bloom,” a solid introduction that showcases his abilities in the realm of leftfield bass with its dominating beat. This one was featured on Bassrush Records’ Prophecy Vol. 2 back in August but fits so perfectly within the story Floret Loret creates. He then guides listeners through “Melted Lavender” and “Afterblooms,” both of which feature airy soundscapes paired with tantalizing bass treats that will easily captivate anyone who tunes in.

The finishing blow on Prosper comes in the form of “Abscissions,” a dubstep tune that will have listeners melting away while listening to its mystical melodic nature. While Floret Loret calls this one an “accident” we instead see it as a “happy accident” in true Bob Ross fashion. We couldn’t think of a better way to close out this EP as he continues down his new path.
