Beatport, When The Music Stops, and Silentmode have teamed up for a 24+ hour virtual music festival called #YouAreNotAlone.
As the world continues to battle against the ongoing pandemic and the fall and winter months bring along longer nights for the Northern Hemisphere, Beatport is looking to help raise awareness for mental health. To accomplish this, they’ve teamed up with When The Music Stops and Silentmode to bring a fresh virtual music festival for dance music lovers to catch dubbed #YouAreNotAlone.
Broadcast on November 7 exclusively via Twitch, Artists who are set to take the virtual stage during the #YouAreNotAlone virtual music festival include the likes of Kaskade, Junior Sanchez, Boys Noize, Morgan Page, and Mason Maynard. You also won’t want to miss out on the Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg going b2b, as well as performances from LOUISAHHHH, Scuba, and YOUSEF as well.
These are trying times for our industry. Now more than ever taking care of ourselves – our minds, our wellbeing and, the wellbeing of others, is truly vital. Mental health has been one of the most talked about topics in our industry for years, and this is a global topic that should continue to be discussed and destigmatized. Furthering their mission, #YouAreNotAlone won’t just feature music but offer viewers a number of educational segments centered around mental health and wellness. Speakers such as wellness music / Breathonics composer, and sleep coach, Tom Middleton, psychotherapist Dr. Aida Vazin, leading breathwork expert Stuart Sandeman, and Silentmode founder Bradley Young will be leading the charge there, but the show will also feature conversations with artists like Rebekah and Sacha Robotti as well.
