Rezident Lands on Anjunadeep with the 'Chapters' EP

**German deep house artist Rezident has left a lasting impression with his latest EP, Chapters, that’s out now on Anjunadeep.**

One of the countries in Europe that has been teeming with talent in the realm of house and techno is Germany. Artists from the country have helped pave the path forward with new sounds and styles as dance music took hold of the world and truly blossomed. Now, up-and-coming producer Rezident is looking to leave his mark on the scene with his latest release, the Chapters EP.

Out now on Anjunadeep, Rezident’s Chapters EP has helped further solidify his place on the list of need-to-know artists for anyone who loves the sounds of deep house and melodic styles. Already showcasing his sound on previous releases this year that includes the Perspective and Blurred Focus EPs, this fresh three-track offering is simply sublime.

Lead single “All My Friends” delivers a serene soundscape to explore as Rezident hypnotizes listeners in a matter of seconds with sultry tones and bassline we can only imagine were stripped right out of a beachside party at sunset. The second track, “In Our Dreams,” carries on those airy tones before diving in with a deeper beat that builds with energy as the track progresses to place listeners in a bliss-like state.

Then, he takes everyone “Behind The Scenes” with a breathtaking track dominated by a bassline that will run through anyone’s mind long after the track comes to a close. We can’t think of a more fitting end to this masterful release from Rezident, and are excited to see what he creates in the studio moving forward!

While working on the ‘Chapters’ EP over the course of the past year, I had the chance to spend five months in the UK for an exchange semester and also explore some new cities in Germany before finally settling in Berlin. Each time I’ve moved to a new place, it has been a new experience for me, which is something I want to share in this EP. I have also been experimenting with new techniques & equipment to perform live, so the records have a more raw & minimalistic feel compared to my previous releases.
