Rusko Debuts on WAKAAN with Latest EP 'Sauce'

**Dubstep legend Rusko arrives on Liquid Stranger’s imprint WAKAAN with a tasty four-track offering dubbed Sauce.**

After one long year without new music, UK dubstep don Rusko returns to the spotlight with a brand new four-track release for fans to feast their ears on. His Sauce EP is out now on Liquid Stranger’s critically acclaimed WAKAAN imprint and features fellow bass staples Dirt Monkey and Boogie T to pack an even bigger punch.

A sonic mirage of eclectic dubstep, drum and bass, and even bass house, Rusko flexes his production prowess throughout the entirety of Sauce. Kicking off with “Carrot Cake,” he quickly launches into a high-octane reggae-driven dubstep heater as the classically wonky beats he’s become known for returns to the forefront, giving us listeners a prime taste of what is yet to come.

Up next is “Ecstasy Dreamland,” a lively take on drum and bass littered with infectious vocal chops that keep the energy levels high. Teaming up with Dirt Monkey for the third track, the pair return to the same reggae-infused dubstep heard in “Carrot Cake.” A personal favorite and true standout on the EP, Dirt Monkey and Rusko’s “Quarantinis” is a collaboration for the ages. Chock-full of distorted and wonky bass, this one is set to be stuck on repeat for ages.

Rounding out his Sauce EP, Rusko enlists Boogie T for a bass blistering “Wha Gwan.” The near four-minute ride sees the signature heart-fluttering dubstep we know and love from Rusko, laced with Boogie T’s masterful heavy touch to bring the release to a close. Sauce is an incredibly exciting return to the limelight in a time we needed it the most, Rusko smashes it out of the park with his latest work.
