Mysterious Duo DEEPFAKE Release ‘The Fakeside’ EP


Anonymous Detroit-based duo DEEPFAKE has unveiled their debut EP, The Fakeside, that features three fantastic techno tunes.

As artists in the dance music scene continue to dive deeper into the underground realm of house and techno, a fresh duo looks to carve out their space in the scene, DEEPFAKE. These two Detroit-based artists might want to remain anonymous by donning anti-facial recognition masks, but their hypnotic beats are more than enough to keep listeners coming back for more.

Showing off their skills behind the decks during the pandemic with a number of livestreams and an appearance on the Discovery Project stage during the EDC Las Vegas Virtual Rave-A-Thon, their growing fanbase craved some tunes from the duo. Now, that wish has been granted as DEEPFAKE has unveiled their debut EP, The Fakeside, that brings three fresh tunes for techno lovers to feast their ears on.

Set in a dimension of their own creation, The Fakeside is a realm where time and space become interchangeable and ever-shifting. Each track on the EP is more entrancing than the last as DEEPFAKE guides listeners through “Heal My Mind,” “Be Somebody,” and “Guestlist Drama.” All three deliver basslines that fill listeners with energy and dominate the senses with high-quality synths as the underground influences shine throughout.

After just one listen to this EP you’ll find it difficult to not return for another round of pummeling beats that make your body move.
