Outside Lands is looking to greener pastures in 2021 with a fantastic lineup featuring Tame Impala, ZHU, Lizzo, Kehlani, and more!

Initially scheduled to take place on August 7 – 9 this year, Outside Lands met the fate of numerous other events this year as the global COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc on the live music scene. But today, they’ve given their fans something to look forward to with a massive lineup for the 2021 edition of the acclaimed festival in San Francisco that’s to return to Golden Gate Park next August 6 – 8, 2021.

Over the past twelve years, Outside Lands has built its reputation on delivering top tier talent across a multitude of genres and they’ve definitely delivered for the 2021 edition of the festival. Notable names that stick out immediately include headliners like Tame Impala, Zhu, Lizzo, Tyler The Creator, and The Strokes, but it only gets better from there.

Other artists announced on the lineup today include Sofi Tukker, Bonobo, J Balvin, Troyboi, and musical-comedy guru Marc Rebillet along with Polo & Pan, Yung Bae, and Nelly. Additionally, Outside Lands features some truly fabulous artists ranging from Shiba San and J.Phlip to Crooked Colours and Parcels, and you simply won’t want to miss out on performances from artists like The 1975 and Kehlani as well!

Despite the 2020 edition coming to a screeching halt, as the ever-popular adage remains: the show must go on, (at least when it is safe to do so). So while Outside Lands might be taking a year off, they’re keeping the vibe alive and priming themselves to roar back with a vengeance next year. Stay tuned for more details and let us know if you plan to attend in the comments below!

Will you be joining us in Golden Gate Park next August? Tickets for Outside Lands 2021 go on sale this Thursday, June 26, at 10 am PDT at sfoutsidelands.com.

Logan Garrison

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
