Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs provides two stunning remixes of Lastlings’ first single of 2020, “Take My Hand”!

Earlier this year, brother-sister duo Lastlings, who have been recognized for their ‘sui generis’ talent, released their first single of the year “Take My Hand” which was met with praise from fellow artists and tastemakers alike. Now, they’ve looked to Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs to put his spin on the single and he’s left us impressed by producing different two unique sonic styles with the “Earth” and “Sky” remixes.

“We’ve been massive fans of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs for years now. We briefly met him backstage at Beyond the Valley, the first festival we ever played 4 years ago! So it’s incredible to have a producer of his calibre remix our stuff.” – Josh Lastlings

Available now on Astralwerks and RÜFÜS DU SOL‘s Rose Avenue Records, the “Earth” and “Sky” remixes by TEED are truly remarkable. So what makes these reworks so special? The revamped versions of “Take My Hand” offers stunning, groovy compilations of beats that bring out the inner rhythm of your feet.

While listening to these new tracks on repeat, it’s hard not to notice the range of sensational notes mirroring the depth of deep house found in “Earth,” while “Sky” stimulates your mind with rich feelings and emotions. One thing to remember is that while these tracks continue “to bring pop melodies that are packed full of emotion” as proven in their previous album hit “Deja Vu.” Additionally, they symbolize a part of the duo’s deep heritage as the hit was inspired by their favorite Japanese anime, “Your Name” by Makoto Shinkai.

Take a listen to the “Earth” and “Sky” remixes on Spotify below, purchase or stream these tracks on your favorite platform, and let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
