The Goldenvoice Presents April concert series is back and better than ever – featuring Disclosure, Madeon, SLANDER, and more!

Goldenvoice is bringing back its highly successful April Concert Series for its seventh year and it is set to feature one of the best lineups yet. Thanks to the series, SoCal residents who aren’t able to make the trek to Indio for Coachella will still get a chance to catch some of the artists featured on this year’s lineup. From Disclosure to SLANDER, the 2020 series features a diverse lineup of 30+ shows in venues across Southern California.

If the idea of pushing through a crowd of sweaty festival-goers sounds like a claustrophobic nightmare to you, Coachella might not be your thing. Luckily, the best part about the April Concert Series is that it prides itself on booking only the most intimate venues, so attendees can enjoy the unique experience of seeing their favorite artists in an up-close and personal setting.

To kick things off, virtual singer/producer Hatsune Miku will take over The Shrine in Los Angeles on April 8, followed by other exciting artists in the following weeks such as Madeon, Doja Cat, FKA Twigs, SLANDER, and more! The concerts will take place in major SoCal cities, Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Barbara, Pomona, Palm Springs, and, for the first time, Indio for Chella. Headlined by Cuco and Chicano Batman, the concert celebrates the Coachella Desert Valley community.

Tickets for Hatsune Miku, Disclosure, and Orville Peck are already on sale. There will be three subsequent waves of ticket sales on Friday, February 21 at 12:00 PST, Friday, February 28 at 12:00 PM PST, and Friday, March 6 at 12:00 PM PST. Tickets for last year’s events went quickly, so make sure to set your alarms!

Check out the full list and schedule of shows below. Tickets for all shows can be purchased via AXS.

Sydney Grant

Sydney attributes her love for music from her mom, who insisted on playing The Foo Fighters and The White Stripes rather than Kiss FM whenever she drove carpool and agreed to allow Sydney to attend Coachella in the eighth grade as long as she could go with her. That first festival only greater affirmed Sydney’s passion for the scene, but it was not until 2013 when she attended Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour concert in Los Angeles that she discovered electronic music. She was hooked instantly and has since attended a total of 23 festivals, with countless concerts in between. Sydney’s favorite artists include RL Grime, Jauz, Jai Wolf, Louis The Child, Slander, Bearson and Big Gigantic but she is constantly on the look out for new music and artists to dance to. When she’s not scouring the internet for new tracks or grooving at a concert, Sydney studies Journalism and Biology full-time at the University of Oregon.
