After touching down in South Korea and bringing an impressive lineup for their debut last year, Insomniac has announced that EDC Korea will return in August!
While Insomniac had landed in Asia for shows in Japan, China, and India in the past, last year saw the professional festival-throwers touch down in South Korea for the first time. Bringing not just one but two brands to the country, they delivered amazing debut editions of EDC Korea and Escape: Psycho Circus that fans from all over flocked to.
Now, Pasquale Rotella and Insomniac have announced that they’ll be returning for another round of EDC Korea for two days of fun on August 15 – 16. Last year’s edition of the festival drew in 90,000 dance music lovers over its weekend-long run at Seoulland, making it one of the most sought after events in Asia to attend in 2020.
While the venue, lineup, and other special surprises are yet to be disclosed, we’re sure that the upcoming edition of the festival will be another monumental one. RSVP to the event page on Facebook and stay tuned for more updates on EDC Korea as they’ll be surfacing in the coming months.
Two-day GA and VIP passes for go on sale Thursday, January 16 at 2pm KST via their website. Let us know if you’ll be taking a trip to Seoul in 2019 to experience this edition of Electric Daisy Carnival and read on for some insight from Pasquale!

“I’m counting the days until we return to Seoul in 2020. Last year we brought both EDC and Escape: Psycho Circus to Korea, and the energy of the crowd was exactly the spirit and vibe of what insomniac strives to foster around the world. The fans are incredibly supportive of the culture, and I can’t wait to work with our partners to deliver another epic experience.”
