G Jones Fuels Our Fire with the 'Tangential Zones' EP

Clearly intent on keeping us all warm this winter, G Jones has added released the Tangential Zones EP to get our blood pumping.

One of the artists in the bass music scene who continues to bring some serious heat with every release is G Jones. Making some serious moves over the past few years with stunning live shows, an album that had us falling harder for his sound, and some releases this year to add into the mix, if you haven’t been paying attention to him yet you should definitely start now as he’s just dropped another monster release dubbed Tangential Zones.

Clocking in at five tracks in total, Tangential Zones stands tall on its own but also duals as a bookend for his previously released album as well. While the songs on the EP live in the Leftfield Bass genre, the dynamic sound design that G Jones brings to his productions comes through in full to give listeners a ride that they’ll want to take again and again.

Lead track “Immortal Light” kicks things off with an energetic punch, while on “Dream Fatigue” G Jones interlaces some video game samples and glitchy elements to cast you off into the shadow realm. “See Right Through” is a personal standout on the EP with his heavy-hitting bass that will blow away anyone with their speakers cranked up. Both “Dark Artifact” and the Acid Mix of “Drift” were also previously released on his imprint Illusory Records, and G Jones also teased many of these tracks during his live sets on tour as well.
