Broken Breaks

Eric Mark and Chef Boyarbeatz have teamed up as Broken Breaks to bring the world the Certified Dinger EP that’s out now on Elastic Rhythms!

If you’re on the hunt for some fresh faces to bring you to a state of electronic music bliss, then look no further than Broken Breaks. Bringing together the minds of LA-based artists Eric Mark and Chef Boyarbeatz, this duo intends to satiate your cravings for bass music with some dirty halftime beats and sound design that will leave you hypnotized.

And what better way to kick off the project than by releasing a two-track EP that shows off the exact reason why you should be hitting that follow button on SoundCloud? Today, they’ve delivered just that with the Certified Dinger EP that’s out now on Elastic Rhythms.

Featuring “Yo!” and the title track “Certified Dinger,” this release highlights the high-level of production that can come when two rising stars join forces and push the boundaries of their own sound. The distorted bass and vocal chop used on “Yo!” starts the EP off with some energy before seamlessly leading into “Certified Dinger” that takes things up an extra notch. A fantastic listening experience overall, you’ll definitely want to hit that play button again for a repeat listen to find even more elements to fall in love with.

“We bring to your speakers our very first artist-duo EP release, Certified Dinger, that was produced by two very “certified” producers from Los Angeles, BROKEN BREAKS (aka Eric Mark and Chef Boyarbeatz). This is their very first release ever as a duo and we are thrilled to showcase these young talented artists here on Elastic Rhythms.”
