Petit Biscuit has taken Flume’s hit track with Vera Blue, “Rushing Back,” and puts his feel-good spin on it for the first official remix that’s been released!

Australian producer, Flume, has no doubt made a lasting mark with his imaginative and unapologetic music. His ability to weave in and out of styles, with a firm grasp on his iconic sound, could earn him a genre of his own. After the recent release and major success of Flume’s track “Rushing Back” featuring Vera Blue, he has teamed up with 19-year-old Petit Biscuit for the first official remix.

Petit Biscuit is more than qualified, too. As a classically trained musician, he has fine-tuned his skills to produce ethereal and inspiring soundscapes. With original vocals and instrumentals, his style is distinct and his talents are noticeable. The oh so blissful “Sunset Lover” set him apart and has garnered this French producer serious respect worldwide. And as a long-time admirer of Flume’s work, Petit Biscuit was more than ready to take a stab at this task.

“Ever since I was 12 years old, Flume has inspired me to innovate in everything I make,” says Petit Biscuit. “He is an artist that is constantly pushing the limits of our genre forward. It’s an honour to be able to bring my signature sound to one of his tracks, lending it somewhat of a dreamy quality.”

Without venturing too far from the original, Petit Biscuit manages to work his mastery to create another feel-good track. He especially compliments Vera Blue’s vocals by reigning in Flume’s punchier beats while adding harmonious melodies. And the soothing, energetic drums in the last half feel familiar and uplifting. Petit Biscuit has reworked the track to offer a chill and easily digestible version while preserving Flume’s flair.

He definitely delivers on bringing his signature to “Rushing Back”. Petit Biscuit seems to bless everything he touches with a hint of summery, golden-hour magic. This remix is no exception and will have you reminiscing on blissful times. Take a listen to it below or on your favorite platform, and let us know what you think of his take in the comments!
