Nightmare Festival is bringing the Halloween spirit to the Nation’s Capital with a lineup boasting of Tipper, Liquid Stranger, Gramatik, and more!
Nightmare Festival has revealed the newest installment of their annual gathering, on October 19 – 20, in the heart of Washington D.C. at The Anthem. This massive venue is set to host the grimiest and grooviest of artists such as Gramatik, Tipper, Liquid Stranger, Jade Cicada and even a Figure: Terrorvision set!
Originally a camping music and arts festival, Nightmare has now transitioned into a two-day show at the coveted Anthem music venue. This new home is the perfect set-up for heavy bass and intricate stage designs, sure to bewitch all who attend.
Headlining the opening night of the festival, Tipper, a master of breaks, beats, and glitch-hop soundscapes will be commanding the stage. Equipped with an arsenal of mind-melting, optically distorting visuals, Tipper’s performance is highly anticipated and is sure to entrance. Also joining the stage on night one will be Jace Cicada, Detox Unit, EVAC, SoDown, and DMVU. This mix of artists is sure to bring an eclectic array of genres ranging from deep wobbly basslines to puzzling downtempo tunes.
Night two will bring extremely talented and diverse headliners, Gramatik and Liquid Stranger to the stage. A smorgasbord of sound, they are set to show off their soulful electronic hip-hop beats to liquid dub and everything in between. These two headliners will be joined by heavy hitters Figure, Gentlemens Club, Protohype and Brightside to round off the weekend!
