SCB and Wehbba Take Us Offworld with the 'Red Planet' EP

Techno artists SCB and Wehbba have joined forces to blast us off beyond Earth’s atmosphere with the Red Planet EP.

If you were looking for a new EP to listen to that is full of pure, techno-goodness, then the Red Planet EP from SCB and Wehbba will definitely hit the stop and have you dancing deep into the night. Out now on Hotflush Recordings, this new release comes on the heels of their recent collab “End Of Time” and is quite the treat for anyone who loves the underground styles of dance music.

Clocking in at four-tracks in total, the Red Planet EP takes us on a trip beyond the safety of our home planet Earth and jettisons us out into the cold depths of space. Lead track “Survival” shows off the duo’s ability to deliver a menacing, raw tune that is full of high-quality synth work and lays the foundation of what’s to come on the rest of the EP.

Percussive elements dominate the soundscape of the two planetary focused tunes with “Red Planet” incorporating plenty of cymbal clashes drum hits while “Green Planet” offers up a deeper, distorted bassline to give it some extra power. And although it builds at a slower pace than the rest, the rolling kick that is featured on “New Culture” will be a shuffler’s dream. From start to finish this is a fantastic release from both SCB and Wehbba, and we can only hope to see more come from these two in the future!
