Los Angeles progressive fans are equally as lucky as Avalon has been all about hosting quality progressive nights and putting these sounds in the spotlight. On May 11, Pure Trance head honcho Solarstone is bringing his special Pure Progressive night to Los Angeles and bringing along the amazing Nick Warren and Forerunners. This night is sure to be fantastic!

Solarstone is a name that needs no introduction. With his numerous appearances in Southern California, it’s clear to see that he’s an artist that trance fans love and come out in droves to support! Why is that? It probably has something to do with the fact that Solarstone is highly respected in trance and talented at his craft. Though he is most known for his trance tracks, he is able to spin any genre and truly understands the art of taking listeners on a journey. His ability to take fans on a journey is what keeps them coming back for more.

Joining Solarstone on the mainstage are Nick Warren and Forerunners! Nick Warren is truly a phenomenal artist and has made a name for himself within the house scene. After making music for over 20 years, he still constantly is able to create fresh sounding tracks. Though he mainly creates tunes in the realm of progressive house, he has never been one to shy away from experimenting with other sounds particularly when playing as Way Out West (W.O.W.) with Anjunadeep’s Jody Wisternoff.

When I think about underrated progressive artists, Forerunners definitely comes to mind. He knows the art of the slow build which is such an integral part of progressive music. While feeling the vibes on the dancefloor, he is able to build up, break down and layer each sound slowly as he effortlessly hooks in his listeners.
