Need help figuring out which artists to see at Ultra Music Festival in Miami this year? We’ve got you covered with some of our top artists to catch!
In just a week’s time, dance music lovers will be flocking to Miami to begin soaking up the sun and making their final preparations for Ultra Music Festival. As usual, Ultra has collected some of the biggest and hottest names in the industry for this year’s installation. Artists like Marshmello, Eric Prydz, Carl Cox, Alesso, Zeds Dead, and Tiesto, just to name a few, are sure to have us dancing all day and night.
With such a massive lineup of over a hundred artists announced already, it can be so hard to choose, so I’ve compiled a few artists that I feel you should check out this year. Check out the full lineup for this year’s edition of Ultra Miami and read on for five artists we feel are can’t miss acts next weekend!
Five Artists You Shouldn’t Miss at Ultra Music Festival 2019
REZZ

REZZ will be rejoining the lineup for her third appearance at Ultra Miami and her set will leave you still feeling the deep bass vibrations all night long. Coming in hot off her incredible 2018 album Certain Kind of Magic, she’ll be taking the stage and mesmerizing all with those hypnotic glasses. If you’re looking for a dark and industrial sound with minimalist style, this girl has it all and does it in style.
Dog Blood
Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
With several collaborations and b2b sets on the lineup this year, perhaps the most anticipated is the return of Skrillex and Boys Noize‘s project, Dog Blood. Returning to Ultra Miami for the first time since 2013 they’ve stayed mostly quiet since that time, only recently appearing at Hard Summer Music Festival. After all this time you can bet that everyone is gearing up to get down at this grungy set, so don’t miss their performance!
Oliver Heldens
Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
House fans of all kinds, be it progressive, deep, electro, or future, will have tons of artists to look forward to on the lineup this year at UMF but Oliver Heldens is one that should be near the top of everyone’s list. This Dutch DJ has climbed the charts and pioneering new sounds among many other emerging house artists while always delivering infectious sets. With plenty of new releases last year and more on the way already, you can bet that Oliver Heldens will keep you dancing from start to finish in Miami this year.
Phantoms
Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Phantoms is a group I recently discovered that had me hooked right away. Their style is hard to define but draws from all different aspects of electronic music and appeals to the senses with synths, drums, and lyrics that get stuck in your head instantly. The former actors have definitely found their niche in the EDM scene and have made it their home. You can bet that I’ll be there to see them perform in a couple of weeks!
Tom Morello
Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
UMF is bringing back another act from 2016, guitarist and rock artist Tom Morello. This icon has recently begun branching out into the world of hip hop and electronic dance music in his 2018 album The Atlas Underground. Working with popular names like Bassnectar, Big Boi, Pretty Lights, and more, this inventive album has a little something for everyone. I for one am very interested to see what his live performance will be like so don’t miss his set at the LIVE stage this year!
