Kidswaste is back with a brand-new, vibey track dubbed “Sleeping Pills” that you definitely have you dancing the winter away.
French producer Quentin Beauvois certainly knows how to keep himself busy. Better known to fans as Kidswaste, he has also released music under two other monikers, Beauvois and Slow Hours. Today, he’s returned as Kidswaste and teamed up with KOLE to bring us a warm weather track entitled, “Sleeping Pills”.
As his first single of 2019, “Sleeping Pills” signifies a new phase of the young artist’s career. Although the feel-good beat elicits airy, springtime vibes, the song actually has a deeper meaning hidden within its lyrics. Kidswaste describes the track as, “one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written,” going on to explain that “it’s about finding yourself totally overwhelmed by lots of things changing and growing in your life, between being in a long distance relationship and trying to realize your dreams.”
Along with this release, Kidswaste also announced today that he’ll be joining Dutch producers DROELOE on a leg of their upcoming tour, as well as performing at BUKU Music & Art Project in New Orleans. The tour will start in Portland and then head down the California Coast, making stops in San Luis Obispo, Berkeley, San Diego, and more.
