Ring in the new year in style with an exquisite masquerade ball hosted by the one and only Justice at Belly Up on New Year’s Eve.

What better way is there to welcome the new year than with Justice in a 450 person room? There isn’t one this new year’s eve. For the first time, the French duo of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, will be performing live at the renowned Belly Up Aspen in Colorado to close out 2018 in style. Guaranteed to be two nights unlike any other, these legends will be even be hosting a masquerade ball at the intimate mountain venue for NYE itself, masks are encouraged.

The magnitude of this set is truly off the charts for a venue the size of Belly Up in Aspen. Typically headlining festival sets of tens of thousands, this is your best chance for the foreseeable future to catch the pair in a room with this level of intimacy.

Back on September 28, the duo announced that they would retire from live shows for “this tour and this decade”, after being announced as headliners at Hard Day of The Dead. So with one final show in 2018 and not knowing what’s in store for the future, don’t sleep on your chance to catch them playing out their timeless hits like Waters of Nazareth”, “D.A.N.C.E”, “Genesis”, and “Safe and Sound” in a tiny room in Colorado.

These two extra special evenings will start off with an opening set by Thibault, an up and coming house producer. He’ll bring a style of house that is infused with electro funk to really get the crowd moving.

While the performance on December 30 is sold out, the NYE show still has tickets that are available for purchase via FrontGate with GA starting at $300. Will you be heading there to ring in the New Year?

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
