In this week’s #TBT, Kaskade invokes everyone to connect with the melodic vocals and lyrics of “Atmosphere”.
Kaskade has progressively connected concertgoers on so many levels by creating such magical music, using the most mesmerizing melodies and vocals to unite everyone. I may be biased since Ryan is the artist that got me into the scene and helped me overcome some challenges in my life, but with songs like “Atmosphere” how can you not agree that his music is uplifting?
In this track, Kaskade showcases amazing lyrics that are easy to sing along to and beautiful piano notes leading into the main part of the track. Every time I hear Kaskade play this track, it fosters love and acceptance. The lyrics are so powerful! I have always connected to this song on so many levels, especially once I found my family within the rave community. “Atmosphere” has helped me through some of my harder times in life.

When “Atmosphere” was released in September 2013, it was the first time we heard Kaskade provide his own vocals. When first I discovered this, I was in awe. Ryan has some of the most melodic voices on earth, and his lyrics connect with many people on a very deep level. It’s almost calming in a way. In an interview with MTV News, Kaskade says that “This album is more about me and the songs that I’ve written, instead of collaborating with people.”
Clearly, Kaskade is a multi-talented and down to earth person with some of the most uplifting and positive music out there. He will always have a special place in my heart because of his music like “Atmosphere.”
