We are just two weeks away from thousands of attendees converging on the Modesto Reservoir Campgrounds for Dirtybird Campout West! The three-day event, four if you come in early for the pre-party, will take place October 4-7 and we couldn’t be more excited. Moving to a new venue yet still bringing those signature vibes, this year the festival it will be the farthest north it’s ever been. More importantly, though, the lineup is out of this world, so you know it’s definitely going to be worth the drive.

While Dirtybird is most notably known for its tech house beats, as they have grown over the years, so has their ability to host a variety of artists. For those of you that are thinking, “I can’t just listen to house all day,” then the Bass Lodge will offer you quite the respite. With artists like Barclay Crenshaw, Eprom, Yheti b2b Toadface, and even A-Trak doing an “Old Skool Hip Hop Set” you can be sure that house and techno are not the only genres you will be enjoying. On the other hand, if you just can’t get enough house in your life, then be sure to check The Birdhouse Spotify playlist we made for you too!

Whether this is your first Dirtybird Campout or maybe you’re a veteran of the festival, it’s always important to remember all the other activities they offer too. So get ready to play games, dance, and groove late into the night. Enjoy these bass heavy and wub filled songs whose strange and experimental sounds will put a smile on your face.

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment.
