What was your first electronic music event?
Back when I was 16 years old there were these promoters that did all age events at Club Space. The company was called Dream Team and I was the main promoter in Broward County. I sold hundreds of tickets to the event. When I showed up it was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Crazy trance in one room and dark techno in another, there were 2000 kids raving hard and I knew then that the only thing I ever want to do is throw parties.
What/who influenced you to attend your first event?
My neighbor was one of the biggest guys in the rave scene back then. He always threw parties at his house. I used to get grounded a lot so every weekend I would see like 50 of the most popular kids in my high school hanging at his house with glow sticks and dancing in his front yard. I used to look out my window and just think that he was the coolest kid ever and I loved the music and the lights. I used to see them raving with the glow sticks after they got home from a party and I was just sold on the whole thing.
What is one moment from an event that was special and why?
The first DAYGLOW Arena show in Orlando. It was our first arena show we did and we sold it out with 5,000 people. I went to the top bleachers and looked over the crowd and at that moment I knew we had something special.
What is your favorite festival or event?
- BURNING MAN!!!
- EDC Las Vegas (I miss EDMbiz though)
- Ultra Miami & Tomorrowland
- Club Space during Miami Music Week
- Coachella
What is your favorite electronic song and why?
I’m such a fan of experiencing electronic music at shows. That being said I’m a fan of DJ sets and how they create a mood and a vibe more than liking one particular song over the other.
Who are your favorite artists?
- Bonnie X Clyde
- Nitti Gritti
- Henry Fong
- Nonsens
- Kandy
- Calica
What are your favorite genres?
Techno by far. I actually love to spin techno and house in my free time. I lose my shit to a good heavy hard ass bass set as well. Lately been loving progressive sets again, its kind of nostalgic and I feel the euphoria that got me into the scene to begin with.
What do you feel your “Identity” is in the electronic music community?
I think the young kids in the scene that know me would say I’m inspirational, motivational, and hard working.
Is there anything else you would like to add about yourself for the readers?
I am very thankful for my team and my artist who believe in me. I will do everything in my power to live up to my commitment to them. This is so much bigger than music or business for me. This is their life and mine and im happy they trust me enough to be on this journey with me.
