Modd

Setting the mood for the rest of the summer season, Modd has returned to Anjunadeep with the entrancing Mesmerize Me EP.

Russian Deep House duo Modd continues to impress as they have released a solid number of EPs this year alone, taking us to the clouds and off to far off distant locations with their dreamlike soundscapes. One of the first releases that caught our ear was the Guron EP that which was released on Anjunadeep, and they have also found love on labels like Akbal Music and All Day I Dream. Now, Modd has returned to Anjunadeep once again with the release of the absolutely stunning Mesmerize Me EP.

Released on June 22, the Mesmerize Me EP has proven throughout the five featured tracks that there is no stopping Modd on their rise to the top. From the beginning track which draws its name from the EP’s title to the last seconds of the alternative mix of “Abernaki”, Modd takes listeners on an entrancing journey through house music. Standout tracks include “Flight Flow”, and the aforementioned “Abernaki”, both of which were my absolute favorites on the EP.

Aside from the standard release, the Spotify edition of the Mesmerize Me EP featured extended mixes of each track to give you some extra sounds to groove out to this season. With their flurry of releases, we can’t wait to see what else they’re cooking up in the studio. Modd’s infectious, chilled out vibe is perfect for all your summer playlist needs, listen to it below and tell us what you think in the comments.
