What was your first electronic music event?
What/who influenced you to attend your first event?
I went to Coachella in 2017. I really enjoyed the stages production there and had so much fun at some of the electronic music sets, so I knew I had to attend EDC Las Vegas.
I asked one of my friends if she wanted to go and she was down. She always wanted to go, but she didn’t have any friends that were into the electronic music scene. I didn’t either. Fortunately, after attending several events and meeting people online, I’ve made more friends who to go to these events.
What is one moment from an event that was special and why?
What is your favorite festival or event?
So far my favorite event is EDC Las Vegas and I’m sure it will always have a special place in my heart.
What is your favorite electronic song and why?
“Thief” by Ookay. It’s such a beautiful song and it touches me every time I listen to it.
Who are your favorite artists?
I have so many – Louis the Child, Kygo, Odesza, RÜFÜS DU SOL, NGHTMRE, and JOYRYDE!
What are your favorite genres?
Future bass, trap, deep house, and future house
What do you feel your “Identity” is in the electronic music community?
Honestly, I haven’t really figured it out yet. I’m still discovering what I like most about the scene.
I’m just so thankful I found this community because I love electronic music and the way it brings people together from all over the world. I’ve met so many cool people from different cultures and backgrounds.
