Hold on to your hats because Arctic Moon has delivered a new single that will sweep you away into oblivion with “Digital Voices”.
Out now on Future Sound Of Egypt, Arctic Moon has pulled out all the stops on their latest release, “Digital Voices”. Trance family, prepare for a full-on mind warp as the pounding bassline bonds with a high octane rhythm that will push your dance floor stamina to the max! But, what truly takes “Digital Voices” to the next level is the element of beauty woven throughout the production. As the auditory storm builds like a hurricane over the open seas, it is the voice of a trance angel that makes way for an uplifting melodic climb out of the chaos and into the light! – Maria
Somnium Sound unleashes grotesque riddim track “Masterpiece” off recently released EP, Bloomkeeper.
Never Say Die: Black Label is back in full effect with Somnium Sound and his four-track EP entitled Bloomkeeper. Filled with bludgeoning riddim slashes, this collection is a must-listen for any and all bassheads. Our favorite track off of Bloomkeeper has to be “Masterpiece” – and that is exactly what it is. A trickling of haunting piano introduces the track and completely sweeps you off your feet with its serene nature. The energy escalates into a monsoon of gargled bass regurgitation, swirling and whipping with a venomous intensity. “Masterpiece” strikes a perfect balance between utter filth and tranquil sound design, taking you for the headbanging ride of your life and never letting go. – Jayce

Breaks swelling back to the dance floor with ZINC on “Get Me Some”!
When you are a 46-year-old legend in the Drum & Bass scene from the UK, what are you to do to keep the old with the new? Answer: Produce a flashback Breaks track with all the modern stylings on top. DJ Zinc teams up with Jay Robinson for a dip back in time with a fun dip into the wacky world of Breaks – or maybe a touch of UK Garage. Whatever it is, its got this sexy House groove on top of two big Breakbeat sections that feel straight out of old-school Felix da Housecat (anyone reading remember “Silver Screen Shower Scene?”) The vocals of Ami Carmine totally give that vibe off as well. In all, this is a very entertaining piece that should pull the best of the dance floor fiends right out on that floor to boogie. Massive! – MyStro

Stayloose releases “Hey Mamma” featuring Taheran on Dim Mak!
Stayloose has been on roll releasing new music pretty much every month this year. His most collaboration with Taheran “Hey Mamma” is catchy tune with playful whistles, a bouncy beat, and lyrics that exclaim we are going to make it Mom! It’s a relatable song for anyone chasing their dreams with their Mom as their number one supporter. The Denver Native’s most recent tracks “Nobody Told Me”, “Fight Back”, and now “Hey Mamma” all have focused messages and show how music can be used to make a statement. No matter what type of track Stayloose crafts it always seems to strike a deeper emotional chord. The production, vocals, and everything come together seamlessly on “Hey Mamma” to make you feel like you can do anything! – Zach

Bass Physics drops a beautiful remix of Illenium’s “Let You Go (ft. Ember Island)”
The first thing you’ll notice about this track is that the lyrics are faster. The original song really draws out the lyrics to create impact with the words, but Bass Physics’s take on the song shows that a strong melody can have a similar impact without detracting from the message. On the first drop, you hear the familiar synth and piano melody that have really become a signature in his songs. Combined into the drop are the words “I’m never gonna let you go,” fading in and out in a beautifully catching rhythm.
This track truly sounds like something Illenium himself would have made while being so different than the original. A great example of an artist adding their own personality to a track we all know and love. – Carlos

After the recent exciting announcement that REZZ is dropping her sophomore album in early August, she gave us a taste of what’s to come with this new single “Witching Hour” The track is all kinds of trippy, enticing you further with each new ominous beat. Staying true to her vibe while bringing in an impressive new melody, REZZ really killed it on this one. As always, Space Mom takes you to another planet with this track, casting spells every which way with all the deep basslines and trippy dubs you could possibly imagine. – Grace

“Popcorn” showcases that Trance legend Armin still rocks the genre!
Collaborations and Armin van Buuren are nothing new. Teaming up with the genre-pushing Alexander Popov for a new Trance track… well, that’s some new hotness for sure! The track, premiered during his Ultra Miami set this year, is a throwback to the days when he only produced Trance. Stylistically speaking, it offers a blend of big beats, pounding lead synths, and uptempo stabs. In fact, the stabs call back to Trance from the 2012 era. Choral vocals offer a touch of the cinema to the track, and the slow build of the track is insatiably appetizers. If you dig Armin and a more real Trance (non-mainstage) you’ve got to listen to this one off the Blah Blah Blah EP. – MyStro

Depth is the name of the game on this classic Trance remake by BLR!
As part of the 15 years of Armada Music celebration the label is capturing new remixes of class tracks. Tapping former Trance producer Leon Bolier under his more Deep House/House focused alias BLR for a remix of Three Drives’ Sunset on Ibiza offer a glimpse into the new style of darker Trance tinged with Deep House touches. The track premiered during Armin’s warm-up set at A State Of Trance 2018, so you may have heard it before, but now it’s released in its full glory. The Balearic airy synth lines retain the beauty of the original but his darker, more aggressive synth choices take the main melody lines to a totally different place. The layers add up to a kooky piece that both gyrates the ears and captures your attention. Love the touch Mr. BLR! – MyStro
