Oliver Smith puts his unique touch on Seven Lions’ “Calling You Home”.
Oliver Smith – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Seven Lions’ hit tune “Calling You Home” had already received lots of praise prior to the release of the official remixes, and upon that drop, it only got better. Taking the reins as one of the remixers for the tune, Anjunabeats OG Oliver Smith left a lasting impression with his take.
As one of the first artists signed to Anjunabeats, Oliver Smith has won fans over with his style and sound. Last year he blew away the crowd in attendance at ABGT250, and has since been on a path to domination as his name has dotted releases and lineups all over. Listen to his remix of Seven Lions’ “Calling You Home” below and let us know what your thoughts are in the comments!
The progressive scene hits a new level of excellence as the sounds of Anden captures our hearts on “Fargo”.
Anden – Facebook | Twitter| SoundCloud
New York City’s own Anden delivers us into the spring season with their fresh new track “Fargo” out now on Kyau & Albert’s Euphonic Visions! A brotherly dream team, Anden (Pete & Tom Cuppernull) is no stranger to dishing out dance floor gems that have already garnered some serious attention from the dance music elite having their work featured on BBC Radio 1 and Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy.
This week, “Fargo” steals the show with a progressive mood setter that will hit your feel button in all the right ways! With a knack for the organic sounds and a history of classical musicianship, Anden expresses their unique expertise on the dance floor, consistently delivering insatiable beats that drive those late night vibes up to the heavens. With “Fargo” now written in the books, we can’t wait to see what they dream up next!
Dodge & Fuski released this remix of Truth’s “Run That” and it’s heavier than we could’ve expected.
Truth – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Dodge & Fuski – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Dodge & Fuski are back with this vicious spin on Truth’s wobbly “Run That”, and it’s huge. Truth (Tristan Roake & Andre Fernandez) are a New Zealand dubstep duo active since 2007 and are Disciple labelmates with Dodge & Fuski. Since Christopher Allen left the duo in 2013, Rob Talbott has taken over Dodge & Fuski as a solo act, but that hasn’t stopped him from bringing the heat. This remix of Truth’s original track shows why Disciple is one of the leading bass labels in the game. Check out the original “Run That” here before listening to this savage remix!
Kicking off with a menacing intro and intense rap lyricism from Jamakabi, a striking build up does little to prepare us for an aggressive bombardment of nasty bass slashes. In between drops returns the hauntingly smooth interlude heard at the track’s beginning, but it’s only a matter of time before we’re attacked again with an inhuman onslaught of dubstep. If you’re in need of some massive bass, look no further than this remix!
Shlump releases this trippy extraterrestrial tune, “Alien Technology”.
Shlump – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
The experimental and wonky wave of bass is on the race, and artists like Shlump are forerunning this come-up. Released on Deep Dark & Dangerous, this track is thick with the vibey bass goodness Shlump is known for.
This is sure to make your body want to get low with its subterranean pitches and heavy wobbles, and we couldn’t be more obsessed with it. If space bass is your thing, this track is definitely for you.
Popped into House influences with “Done For Me”
Charlie Puth – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Kehlani – Facebook | SoundCloud
Pop singer Charlie Puth is no stranger to the dance music world, as his hits have been touched on by the likes of EDX and Oliver Heldens. This new single by the 26-year-old New Jersey singer/songwriter blends the subtle beauty of House music tones with the sensibilities and ease of acts like Los Angeles’ Oliver or Montreal’s Chromeo.
There’s a blend of Funk in the synth lines, and the duet of Puth and songstress Kehlani offers a splendid blend of melancholy that feels right at home in the colder months of the year. The quarrel the lyrics weave is as easy to understand as finding your first love in your teenage years – the titular line: “Tell me what you’ve done for me” is an ode to the immediate breaking of a relationship. There’s an easy experience in this simply beauty of this one – accessible in the vein of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and yet it retains plenty of modern soul without falling into tropes. Love it! – MyStro
Duke Dumont’s drops groovy single, “Inhale”
Duke Dumont – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
UK producer Duke Dumont is back with a new single just in time for springtime! Complemented by Ebenezer‘s smooth R&B vocals, “Inhale” brings the funk with its house-infused basslines sprinkled with vibey synths.
Dumont is no stranger to feel-good electro, though. Known for his hits “I Got U” and “Need U (100%), this artist is the king of feel-good tracks. The perfect precursor to Dumont’s highly anticipated album, “Inhale” will have you bumpin’ and groovin’ all weekend long!

Griffin Stoller – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Molly Moore – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
It’s been said multiple times that electronic music as a whole is moving toward adding more live elements. If this is the case then Griffin Stoler could surely be one of the leaders of the pack. Griffin’s style is a breath of fresh air as, within many of his tracks, he often incorporates his trained vocals along with others, as well as live elements such as his violin.
The 22-year old rang in the new year at SnowGlobe and this essentially set him up to have a fantastic 2018, which includes an upcoming performance at EDC Las Vegas! The San Francisco based artist goes above and beyond by setting himself apart by fully infusing his violin expertise and training throughout his productions.
In his later single, Stoller teams up with vocalist Molly Moore to release “With You.” The track features beautiful piano and violin elements alongside trap snares and a fully future bass style. Check out Griffin’s innovative new song and let us know what you think!

“‘Altered’ is a song that came from a change of heart with the music I was writing. I went from writing music that didn’t resonate with me, to writing music that means the world to me. The song signifies how I altered my viewpoint and approach to my music.” – ZAXX
