Dazzle your date with these gorgeous Valentine’s Day themed makeup inspirations that will be perfect for this event filled weekend!

Valentine’s Day is almost here and whether you’re going on a date with that special someone or heading to a themed event like Crush, we’ve got you covered with some looks that will leave a lasting impression. In the spirit of the holiday centered around love, we handpicked primarily reds and pinks along with several glittery looks that you’ll fall in love with!

If you’re still a beginner with makeup, we recommend that you do a test run a few days before and see what works best with your skin tone and outfit. Additionally, we suggest investing in eyeshadow primer, particularly something like Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Using eyeshadow primer will allow for crease-free shadow, more vibrant color, and smoother application. Also, another tip would be lightly spraying your eyeshadow brush with water to allow you to obtain a more pigmented color upon application.

For those looking to step up their look a bit more, you could always add a few face gems or hair accessories to complete your look. With limited time remaining, getting plastic gems and accessories at craft stores will be your best bet. All you need to apply them is a little eyelash glue or spirit gum.

Check out the looks below and make sure to read our post regarding proper usage of glitter, you definitely don’t want to get any in your eyes!

Haven’t decided what you’re going to do this weekend with your rave bae? Don’t sleep on Insomniac’s Crush events happening in San Francisco, SoCal, and Arizona! All three editions are set to be hosted Saturday, February 17 and feature distinct lineups that ensure it is one of the best places to spend your Valentine’s weekend.
