Gabriel & Dresden go down “The Only Road” as they prepare to launch their brand new album!
A little over a year ago one of the most famous duos in trance and progressive, Gabriel & Dresden, announced their return to production! Unlike most artists, their approach was left-field. The duo reached out to their beloved fans for support through the help of a Kickstarter campaign. The goal was to obtain enough financial backing to allow them to devote their time to creating a new studio album. The response was overwhelming and within days, the goals were obliterated!
Initially, the album release date hovered around the end of May time frame. However, a once in a lifetime opportunity arose in the form of a label release on Anjunabeats, a pillar of electronic music.
Flash forward to a year since the beginning of their journey, the boys are finally ready to unleash the album upon the world. The Only Road, the first original Gabriel & Dresden production of this decade, releases on December 15.
To celebrate their accomplishment, they chose New York City as their first destination. This won’t be just a regular club event, however. Trance and progressive fans, prepare yourselves for six hours of music as the guys perform a special Open to Close set.
To that end, Cielo nightclub will host the event on Friday, December 8. There couldn’t be a better setting for this show. The intimate club setting and what I deem the best sound system on the East Coast provide the perfect elements that we associate with Gabriel & Dresden. Everyone, get ready for emotional, evocative, and powerful music. This will be a journey you won’t want to miss!
