Let’s take a step back to one of Adventure Club’s defining tracks: their dubstep remix of Flight Facilities’ track, “Crave You”.
“Crave You” is one of those iconic tracks that almost everyone I knew was obsessed with, and it gave Adventure Club the kickstart into their hugely successful career. With almost 30 million plays on SoundCloud to date, it’s clear how loved this track has been in the six years since its release.
Flight Facilities’ beautiful vocals and Adventure Club’s unparalleled production come together for a timeless track that hits hard each and every time. The melodic dubstep drop is one of the most euphonious dubstep drops I’ve ever heard, pleasing to people all across the musical spectrum. The sweetness of the vocals and passion of the drop came to characterize Adventure Club’s style in years to come, always hitting listeners straight in the feels with their tracks and remixes.
To this day, Adventure Club still integrates this awesome track into their sets – a favorite of mine is the live mashup with their original track, “Gold”. I love this old dubstep sound of Adventure Club; it’s still my favorite parts of their sets whenever I see them live. Any chance I get to throw on an oldie like this, you better bet I’m blasting it through the speakers.
