Get hyped for Groove Cruise LA 2017 with this playlist curated by Adam Auburn!

Groove Cruise is the true OG when it comes to hosting a “Festival On A Ship”. This year they’ve already set sail out of Miami back in January, but they have a second sailing out of Los Angeles primed for this October. Groove Cruise LA returns after a one-year hiatus for a journey of epic proportions from October 6 – 9 as they sail south to Ensenada, Mexico. In the lead-up to the sailing itself, we will feature playlists from artists who will be taking the stage during the voyage, as well as some info so you can get to know them better. First in the series is… Adam Auburn!

Adam Auburn is one of the most versatile artists in the game today.

A man of many talents, Adam Auburn is a DJ based out of Los Angeles that has dominated the scene since arriving in city almost a decade ago. Relocating from the East Coast to find a new home in Los Angeles back in 2008, he was quickly discovered by Insomniac Events and given the nod to take the stage weekly at Exchange LA. His versatility behind the decks led to numerous sets in support of major artists ranging from Green Velvet to Kaskade, and bookings at major festivals like Escape, Nocturnal, and EDC Las Vegas.

Gracing the stage at countless club nights at Exchange for years, it was 2014 when Adam took the next step at the venue. Becoming the Director of Marketing & Entertainment for ExLA, he continues to advance the club forward into the future of electronic music.

One of the more interesting gigs that fans could catch him spinning at in the past was at Disneyland’s California Adventure, where he spun at the elecTRONica and Mad T Party nights for many years. Aside from DJing, Adam also runs Auburn Events and hosts his own parties like Afternoon Delight.

If you’re looking for a solid set that will most definitely get the dancefloor moving and grooving, make sure to catch Adam on Groove Cruise LA. You can also catch him opening for Tiesto on September 29 at ExchangeLA if you want to get a taste for his style before the cruise!

“A little bit of this, a little bit of that… from house to g-funk!”
