Get hyped for Groove Cruise LA 2017 with this playlist curated by Grum!

Groove Cruise is the true OG when it comes to hosting a “Festival On A Ship”. This year they’ve already set sail out of Miami back in January, but they have a second sailing out of Los Angeles primed for this October. Groove Cruise LA returns after a one-year hiatus for a journey of epic proportions from October 6 – 9 as they sail south to Ensenada, Mexico. In the lead up to the sailing itself, we will feature playlists from artists who will be taking the stage during the voyage, as well as some info so you can get to know them better. First in the series is… Grum!

Want to see what the Groove Cruise Experience is all about? Check out our Groove Cruise Miami 2017 review.

Hailing from Scotland, Grum has been a solid addition to any lineup since launching his career.

As one of the members of the Anjunabeats Family that has also become well-known for his presence on the Anjunadeep label, Grum has absolutely dominated the electronic music landscape with his quality releases. Taking the stage around the globe, you may have caught him on one of the many stops on the Anjunabeats Worldwide Tour this year, as he sways audiences with some downright infectious sets.

This year has been a huge one for Grum, dotted with quality progressive tunes like “Shining” and “Reflections”, as well as solid remixes like that of Seven Lions & Jason Ross’ tune “Higher Love”. His hit tune “Shout” was played out numerous times by Above & Beyond in sets as well, which you’ve probably heard if you’ve been to any festival recently.

Festival-wise, Grum has been on a serious journey in 2017, with no plans on stopping anytime soon. He has already hit at major events like Global Dance Festival, Luminosity Beach Festival, Creamfields, and most recently Electric Zoo, and fans simply just can’t get enough of his progressive sound.

Having already taken the stage on Groove Cruise Miami back in January, we can’t wait to hear what Grum plans on bringing to the table in his return to the high seas. Check out the playlist below and get a feel for what is in store on GCLA!

“I’ve selected a bunch of tracks that represent what Groove Cruise means to me.  I was on the Miami edition in January and really got into some of the tech house on the boat then from the likes of Detlef and Camelphat.  I’ve also included some of my favourite tracks here from other artists playing on the boat this time.  And I’ve ended on Roger Sanchez – Another Chance.  Seeing Roger drop this was a fantastic way to end the cruise last year as we docked in Miami!”
