Paul Van Dyk premieres his AEON Live Show concept in New York City on September 23rd!
Ever since his return in June of last year, Paul van Dyk has been a man on a mission. He began with memorable performances at multiple Insomniac events, Luminosity, and the annual VANDIT night in Berlin. This summer, Paul announced his 8th studio album From Then On along with a new live show concept. Van Dyk returns to his beloved New York City on September 23 to bring AEON to his fans for the very first time.
From vinyl to CDs, to CDJs, Paul van Dyk never shied away from adopting the latest technology to create the best show possible for his fans. Over the past few years, a live setup allowed Paul to edit and create music during his events. By showcasing his creativity, music lovers witnessed what can only be described as a unique experience. The concept of live performance is further enhanced by AEON, where the music takes centre stage.
To that aim, the PlayStation Theater in the heart of Times Square is the venue for the first show. On the theatre-like stage, two keyboardists will be joining Paul to enrich the performance. Together, they’ll aim to redefine what people expect when attending an electronic music event. Music lovers can expect material from the upcoming album. Furthermore, the show boasts a new set of visuals who’s theme will align to the album’s concept: a futuristic vision of where Paul believes trance needs to go.
