The electronic lineup at this year’s Life is Beautiful is stacked and we’ve narrowed it down to five artists you need to see!
Life is Beautiful is just around the corner and there are a ton of things to look forward to. The food lineup was recently released along with the addition of Bonobo, Classixx, Andrew McMahon and the Wilderness and Kamaiyah to the musical lineup. Attendees can also get excited for the return of the Art Motel and Bill Nye at the Learning Stage!
The festival will be held in Downtown Las Vegas during the weekend of September 23-25. This year’s top billed electronic artists to include Kaskade, Pretty Lights, and Zeds Dead with support from ZHU, Tchami, Big Gigantic and many more. With so much musical talent on the lineup, it can be difficult to familiarize yourself with all the artists. Here are my top electronic artists to check out at this year’s fest!

Whethan

Whethan’s most recent collaboration, “Good Nights”, featuring Mascolo has been stuck in my head since its release about a month ago. The 18-year-old producer from Chicago has been busy the last year playing some of the biggest festivals in the country and releasing new remixes and originals along the way. As one of my favorite up and coming young producers, I cannot wait to see what kind of set he puts together.
Hayden James

Even if you think you haven’t heard of Hayden James, I bet you have. His track “Something About You” was remixed by Odesza and his original tracks have a house/deep house vibe to them that’ll have the crowd bouncing around all night. As one of the lower billed artists I expect his set to be earlier in the day, but that just means more room to dance!
Goldroom
Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
There are so many great under card electronic acts at this year’s festival, but Goldroom is atop the bunch. The Boston native has come a long way since his first remix releases in 2012. He released his first studio album, West of the West, in 2016 and it is a gem. Last time I saw Goldroom he opened for Autograf and played with a live band. I really hope we get something similar to that at Life is Beautiful.
Pretty Lights
Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Whenever I think Pretty Lights I think “Finally Moving”. This was one of the first tracks that made me fall in love with Pretty Lights’ music and the electronic scene as a whole. The Colorado native has been producing music and playing live shows for over 10 years now. It’s safe to safe he has got it dialed in. The production and lights at his sets are a perfect representation of his name. The lights are pretty and the lights are crazy.
Bonobo
Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
There is no way I am missing Bonobo and you shouldn’t either. Bonobo’s live sets are nothing short of spectacular and after missing his Lightning in a Bottle set I am not letting that happen again. His most recent album Migration has been one of my favorites of 2017 and the track “No Reason” featuring Nick Murphy (Chet Faker) is something I have to see live. Hopefully 2 Chainz or Slightly Stoopid places at the same time so all the cool kids can stay and have a spiritual experience at Bonobo. Dreams.
